When mousing over various selections (any screen) there are usually pop-up bubbles that explain what the selection does. The pop-up information bubbles obscure the screen so you must place the mouse pointer somewhere else in order to read the list of options. How can we do this better? One way is to make the various selections more self-explanatory. Perhaps include the explanation as part of the on-screen list. If each selection is a mystery, then the layout is probably incorrect.
A second idea, if information bubbles ARE necessary, have them time-out after a few seconds.
Thanks!
