I have used jv16PowerTools for several years with no real issues. However, I just updated to 2013 and it seems to have real problems with one of my systems that I upgraded from W7 to W8. The first time I ran the registry cleanup it found thousands of issues and ran for many many minutes "fixing" the problems. I did not get concerned until I ran it again a few days later and the program hung. Today I thought I would give it another try and it does not want to fix any of the "errors" it finds. It sits and thinks for 20-40+ seconds and then comes back with the "no fix" messages. I have attached screen shots. The program works just fine on the W8 machine where I did a fresh install. Where am I going wrong?
I have three screen shots but don't know how to combine them and this forum will only handle one attachment per entry? I can attach the other two as separate entries OR can someone tell me how to get the three as one attachment for the next time?
