Icon of file Type

Hi,

I have a little cosmetic problem, I can not solve. I have the impression, that after register cleaning the icon of the file type .htm .html is not correct. I tried to change within the Explorer - but in the section of the file type the correct icon is shown. And it is a different file type than actually linked with the file type.

Does anybody knows what I have to do? WOuld be great if you could help.

thanks for the help. The settings of the file type is all correct - just putting a html FIle on the desktop of within the IE or Netcaptor the wrong icon is shown. Have a look at the screen shot - the black marked icon is shown - althoug the correct icon is set within the file settings.

Any other idea?

But you're right,this is a weird one.

The icon is a generic type,but at the moment I don't have any idea how the heck it got in there

or how to change it.

I'll try and see what I can find,but it may take some time.

In the meantime maybe someone else may come up with a solution.

Sorry, I don't have a better answer,but I'll keep looking.

PS If you're sure this problem occurred after a Reg cleaning,

you might want to try and restore the Reg Backup file and see if this also restores the original icon.
