1,583 items on first run

Just run for the first time RegSupreme Pro on registry clean and received 1,583 results.

These covered invalid help files, obsolete Add/Remove menu entries, uneeded shared component entries, obsolete software entries and much more.

Previously used PAL Solutions Registry Cleaner which only produced two results which were:"Value Value HKEY_CLAS....Software\Re C:\Program"

and "Value Value HKEY_LOCA....SOFTWARE\....C:\Program"

Clicking the Fix tab clears the entries but they only return again on the next run.

Any ideas on how to approach this problem? Cannot say I fancy deleting 1,583 entries. Any help most appreciated!

Speaking from experience - I wouldn't delete them without first making a complete backup of your C partition (I don't mean just letting JV16 backup the registry entries.)

The problem for me started way back here. I am still unable to safely use aggressive mode, using the latest build of JV16. I'm assuming that RegSupreme is pretty much the same.

Deleted the lot.

On the second run 19 entries came up and with the third zero.

So far so good without, as yet, any problem.

Boy you must have nerves of steel. I got 750 on my first run, and a month later deleting about 20 hand picked items at a time, I'm down to about 130, some of which I am afraid to delete. It's not a big deal to have some files that are alledgedly unnecessary, you just don't want a large number slowing things down.
