I'm sorry if this may be considered a double post.

This is not a double post, I must had overlooked your message in the other topic, my apologies.

Could you please try the following:

Locate the file (C:\Program Files\ATI Technologies\HydraVision\HydraDM.exe ) with the file explorer and drag it to jv16 PowerTools. Select the file within the jv16 PT and click More Functions > Rename and rename the file e.g. to HydraDM_.exe

Does the rename operation work?

Remember to rename the file back to HydraDM.exe if the rename operation worked.

No need to apologize.You're busy enough as it is,

besides, you were basically finished with that topic.

My mistake was to add my post to it,since I thought

it was related to the the topic.

Anyway,no problem.

The answer is "yes".Renaming worked.

BTW,this is a clever setup.By dragging the file the new

window pops up.

I did rename the file back.

Seems very strange.

Could you send me a list of all the filenames that exist but the program says doesn't exist?

Do you run the program with the administrator account?

Yes,I run the program in an account with Admin privileges but not

as Administrator perse.

I will make a list of "non-existing" files,but rather than

cluttering up this thread with a long list,I will send it to

your other address with proper reference.If that's OK with you.

Being Thanksgiving in Canada today,I don't know how much I"ll get done.

I'm expecting several friends and relatives.

I"ll keep you posted.

PS Update (guests have not arrived yet)

I did run the program in the Administrator's account.

The entries are totally different,as they are if run from

other acounts.I'll hold off posting (sending)any list,

because it involves well over 1000 entries.(4 accounts)

I'm a bit puzzled as to why the difference.

I'll try and delete some safe entries from my account and see

if in fact they are truly deleted.I"ll make a backup first

though :)
