What Windows OS are you using and are you using jv16PT-2012 latest version 2.1.0.1173?

I have seen this error before, but that was with an earlier 2012-version!

Yes sir, I am using the latest version. I even clicked the check for updates and it says it is the latest. I am running windows 7 64 bit.

I just ran jv16 Registry Compactor on my Windows 7 SP1 x64 Professional system. Phase 1 and Phase 2 of the compaction completed without any internal errors. My compactor log is showing no internal errors either. I was signed on using an administrator account and UAC was turned OFF. My system language is English (USA).

I recommend that you download a fresh copy of jv16 PT 2012 from the MaceCraft website and then perform a totally clean re-install.

1. Save a copy of your license on your desktop.

2. Download a fresh copy of jv16 PowerTools 2012 installer and save it on your desktop.

3. Uninstall jv16 PowerTools 2012 and any other version of jv16 PowerTools that is on your system via Control Panel>Programs and Features.

4. Reboot

5. Using Windows Explorer, perform a search on your C drive for all FOLDERS with the name jv16 PowerTools.

6. Delete all FOLDERS that have the name jv16 PowerTools as part of the folder name. This will ensure that nothing is left hanging on your hard drive from jv16 PT 2012 or previous versions.

7. Re-install jv16 PowerTools 2012.

8. Make all necessary changes to your settings.

9. Once jv16 PT 2012 is set up, run a registry compact and see if the errors still occur.
