2012 vs. 2011: Reg/PC Health Discrepancies?

Greetings,

I just upgraded and installed JV16 PowerTools 2012 and was looking over the differences between 2012 and 2011. The two versions give dramatically different readings on Registry Health and PC Health.

2012:

Reg Health – 58%

PC Health – 79%

2011:

Reg Health – 95%

PC Health – 97%

Since both versions are reading the same registry, I wonder why the evaluations are so dramatically different.

Just compare jv16PT 2011 and 2012 on what both ''Clean & Fix my Computer" and 'Registry Cleaner' find during their scans.

In my case jv16PT 2012 did find a lot more items to be fixed/deleted.

Use in 2012: Tools -> Program maintenance -> Flush cache
