wha I've been intending to ask this for a while. When I wish to uninstall software, I get the usual search for associated files. I select everything and click uninstall and a message appears informing me that the the uninstaller has been executed and telling me to click OK when it has finished. It never does, so I click OK anyway and (mostly )that does the trick. Should I wait longer?

Confirmed for W7-x64 with jv16PT_b1145 In an attempt to uninstall the 'Hitachi Alignment Tool' the attached picture remains on screen 'for ever' if the user does not click OK. . SW-Uninstaller.jpg
jv16 The issue should now be fixed, thank you for reporting! By "should", I mean that I wasn't able to reproduce the problem but I'm quite sure I found the bug and fixed it. The fix will be available in the next released build.
doctor9fan Alas not fixed here, Like with the OP everytime I try uninstalling a program using JV16PT the screen doesn't do anything; no uninstaller pops up nor does the progress bar move, it's as though the program can't run the uninstaller of the program you wish to uninstall, as with the OP I have to click ok but this seems to leave bits of the removed program behind. For me it was the same on Vista sp2 & now on W7 sp1.
