stankay I had Version 1.5.1.307 and noticed that your download site showed the latest Version as 1.5.1.310. I downloaded and installed Version 310 but when I click "Help" and then "About" it shows the Version as 307. Is this a bug or have I done something incorrectly? :?
blackdex Are you sure you closed PowerTools. Becouse if PT wasn't closed (correctly) it won't overwrite the executable. Also, try to clear the cache of your browser and try to download the setup again. It shoudl work, becouse it did for me.
stankay I have ensured that PT was not running and then re-installed but got the same result - no sucess. However, when I downloaded the file that excluded the handbook and installed from that then the problem was solved.
jv16 Your browser or download manager must have had the setup file cached somewhere, this is causing some problems to a few users every now and then since we don't change the name of the setup file upon each version. And we don't change the filenames because there are thousands of websites linking directly to our files, if we would change the filenames all of these links would be broken.
doogie If the previous version setup file is cached somewhere Jouni it's worth pointing out that you would get an exceptionally fast download as the existing file does not get overwritten.
jv16 True DooGie, but if you have a fast internet connection you might not notice the difference since the file to be downloaded is very small.
