System Optimizer won't show anything!

I download the trial version of jv16 PowerTools 2011 yesterday and i found the regestry cleaner tools found a lot problems than any other software i used so far, but when i tried the System Optimizer tool, i won't show any thing. Here the sreenshot:

Other tabs are the same. Nothing there other than the tabs title.

And some strange things too, like when i chosed Help - About jv16 PowerTools (or F12) the program just closed instantly.

I used Win7 Pro 32 bit, 1Gb Ram, used Avast Free 6 and Comodo Firewall as antivirus and firewall protection. Already add jv16 to thier trust file.

Previous issues were reported by users using Avast and/or Comodo.

As an easy and quick test, could you add the three keywords Avast, Alwil and Comodo (separated by a blank) to the jv16PT Global Ignore list?

Go to the jv16PT main window -> select 'Settings' -> select 'Advanced'. In the window displayed you see the 'Global Ignore list' and add the three keywords.

Close + Restart jv16PT and check the System Optimizer function again.

Than the issue "System Optimizer won't show anything" most likely has an other cause!

Odd, I've been using avast (free version) for years, currently v. 6.0.1125, and never had any such problem. Maybe it's the avast-Comodo combination? I don't currently use the latter, have the PC Tools firewall instead.

(Edit, after-thought) I haven't had to set any exclusions in PT either.

Registry Optimizer? Do you mean "Registry Cleaner" and "Registry Compactor"? They work quite good

For fuction "Clean and fix my Computer", I haven't used it yet. I don't like used tools that do everything without my knowlegde so I don't know if it work out yet

And i don't think Avast or Comodo create this issue. I try disabled both of them but still not get any good result

Edit: Try using "Clean and fix my Computer". It work OK

1. I do not think I ever said 'Registry Optimizer'.....

2. The Registry Compactor function in jv16PT v2.0.0.1009 only works correctly with W7 if UAC is switched off. See: http://www.macecraft.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=4416#p28270

Yes, i turn UAC off, and i don't encounter any probs with RegCompactor
