I think that you need to clean-out (with notepad/wordpad) the file UserActionLog.txt in the "settings" subdirectory within the jv16PT installation directory.

However I have not yet tested this myself!

You can delete or rename the UserActionLog.txt file. The next time you do something with the program, the file is created anew. The prior history will be gone.

Is there a way for jv16 PT not to record the Action History al all?

I never look at it and therefore I can do without a feature that fills up my C-disk continuously.

As far as I can tell, there currently is no way to opt out of the Action History feature.

Unfortunately not at this time I'm afraid, but in a next version IMO there should be an option in the Settings to disable it.

Thanks for the replies.

I was wondering how to accomplish this, since choosing 'Empty List' from the List Control context menu cleared the list, but all the data was there upon re-opening the list.

I agree. This will be added for PowerTools 2012. It cannot be added to PT 2011 because this feature will require a change to the GUI and the translation file.
