Install build (986) issues

I have build 970 installed. Always "on top of" approach.

While trying to install 986, it will stop when trying to install the "uninstaller".

Anybody elese experience this?

I know I can uninstall and then re-install and before I do that I would like to hear other opinions before I report a bug, which since apparently no one has reported yet, it may be a my-end-type-of-problem.

I never understood the benefit of what you called the "on top" approach. I always do the following:

1. Either install the new build 986 in a different directory, next to the current build 970. Advantage: You can use both builds (b970 and b986) for a while.

2. Uninstall the current b970, but keep the 'Settings' and 'BackUps'. Than install the new b986 in the b970 directory. Advantage: A clean install of b986.
