File Recovery Tool only works once per session

For both XP-SP3 and W7 x86 with v2.0.0.986 (2010) and v1.9.1.606 (2009):

UPDATE today, Nov 11th 2010 at 4 pm.

For test reasons I ran File Tools -> File Recovery on my E:\ user disk, searching for deleted .pdf files that perhaps could be recovered.

File Recovery found 178 files, with a condition=100%. According to the user manual this means that these file can very likely be recovered.

In the same File Recovery session, the user can only once perform a UnDelete action on one or more selected files.

A second attempt (in same session) to UnDelete one or more selected files, ends in a 'kind of freeze' during which processor activity is 0%.

But no freeze application error occurs, not even after ~20 minutes. See screen shot.

Aborting this 'frozen' UnDelete action followed by a restart of File Recovery, resets the system and again one UnDelete action can be performed.

This issue occurs in both jv16PT2010 and jv16PT2009! It makes one wonder how often this tool is actually used.

To reset the system with v1.9.1.606, not only the 'File Recovery' session must be closed but also the jv16PT2009 application itself.

Unfortunately that behaviour is confirmed on my pc with other kind of files, i.e. no pdf-files :(

I think this issue should be fixed indeed.

Not to tear down but there are bunch of negative comments about jv16. I hope this would be fixed because I know they are using the beta version. My last concern was already submitted to their site.

This post is once again "bullshit" and has the only purpose to advertise for the website mentioned in the signature. The post should be removed asap and the author banned form the forum.

I already reported three similar posts to jv16 which have been removed from the forum. Unfortunately jv16 omitted to ban the person. I hope he'll do it finally now.

The user is now banned. Users who send spam are usually robots which only send a message or two and leave, or humans but who also just send their spam messages and leave the forum. It's usually not needed to ban these users, just to remove the messages. Removing a spam message only takes two clicks, banning and user takes quite a few. That's why I didn't ban him before.

Thank you Jouni. I understand, but if those "humans" aren't banned, we (the forum users) have continuously to read all their nonsense, because I noticed they don't stop posting after some posts, but unfortunately continue their posting after you deleted the posts.
