every time a user refreshes 'programs & features' from the control panel these values will be recreated in:

HKCU\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\app management\arpcache\

My impression is that jv16 pt is cleaning this path just to inflate their error result number. Personally I don't think this path is necessarily junk entries & it leads me to wonder if this tool really does less for me than I think it does.

If you don't wish that key to be analyzed, simply add it to the Ignore Words section of the Registry Cleaner.

I don't see much point in cleaning the key either, but since most of the competitors do it, we must do it as well to satisfy the people who compare these products by the number of errors they find.
