3. File Recovery can show an errir message: "The following information must be provided in order to start: At least one search argument, you can use Files to find, Search by size and/or Search by date tabs." - there is no Search by date tab.
4. System Cleaner tool's window doesn't have a tool caption, nor does the tool exist in English.lng at all
5. The size and position of some or all tool windows are not correctly remembered.
6. Initial Setup creates an empty SysCache.dat file
7. Registry Cleaner does not run (probably related to issue number 6).
8. Any of the file tools can report the following error message: "AssertEx1 (RS) FAILED! Desc="TDebugLog.AddLogEntry, Entry="Start: Procedure TFileViewForm.OnGetInfo..".

15. The Registry Cleaner's Scan Report always show, even if you check "don't show this window again" from the Scan Report window.
16. If you have a folder called "Foobar" in your C:\ drive, and you search for "Foobar" with the Directory Finder from C:, the tool finds nothing unless you search for "*Foobar*".
17. Directory Finder: When I don't put anything in the tab "Search in" I get the warning message: "At least one source directory". That's normal. But when I double click that warning (blue underlined link) nothing happens while normally it should jump to the tab "Search in".
18. Sometimes the program shows an Access Violation related to "TRegistrySpecialScanners.Scan_Shared1" when the program is closed.
19. Download Latest Version button doesn't always work in the Check for Updates window.
20. If AntiMalware0.dat is not complete due to some early termination, the feature fails in the next session with a decompression error.

Issues found in in-house testing
1. If a new version of the program is available, and you start Help > Check for updates right after starting the program, you might see a message "You are currently using version "{1}". A newer version "{2}" is available. Would you like to get more information about the new version?". If you click Yes, the already opened Check for Updates windows will close, start again and check again for a new version. The second time the popup does not occur.
2. The Check for Updates window lacks its icon.
3. File Tool's File Analyzer feature doesn't look right, all the text captions are wrong and do not originate from the English.lng
4. Mass File Renamer's Convert Case feature cannot be accessesd because the box is too small.
5. File Encrypter tool contains an incorrectly named button (Abort button says "AbortBtn").
6. File Organizer tool contains an incorrectly named button (Add button says "AddBtn").
7. Automation Tool: If you click Delete but then select No, the automation task is not deleted, but clicking Delete again doesn't do anything, the task is not deleted nor is the confirmation ever shown again.
8. If you abort the History Cleaner, it can crash to Access Violation.
9. Running Unit Testing Tool can cause the GUI to freeze for long periods of time.
10. "RegistryDataAnalyzer" test in Unit Testing Tool seems to do nothing, and causes the tool to freeze for long periods of time.
11. File Tool's Columns > Checksums features do not work, no CRC32, SHA1 or MD5 of the files is ever displayed on screen.
12. If there are problems with connectivity, the Anti-Malware feature can be incorrectly installed and trying to use it causes the program to crash.
13. After Anti-Malware feature has been once installed, it can no longer be updated (i.e. it doesn't ever receive any information about updated signature files).
14. The uninstaller of jv16 does not remove the jv16 folder from the Start Menu when jv16 is uninstalled...even after a reboot. The folder has the "Uninstall jv16 PowerTools 2010 BetaX" link in it and that is probably preventing the uninstaller from removing the folder...even after a reboot.
15. When using some tools for the very first time, their default column sizes are wrong. For example, with the Registry Manager most of the columns are too wide.
16. When a tool opens, its results list should always be in focus. In other words, it must be possible to use the mouse's scroll wheel to start to browse the result list after a tool window has been opened. This was not the case with most tools, such as the Startup Manager or Software Uninstaller.
17. Sometimes when you closed a Message Panel, the tool window's button bar would move out causing some action buttons to become invisible.
18. The Global Ignore List can contain empty and duplicate lines.
19. Most of the main tools can crash if you use the Abort button, these tools include the Clean and Fix my Computer, Registry Cleaner, Registry Finder, Registry Find & Replace and File Finder.
20. Software Uninstaller can list the Software\WOW6432Node as an installed software under a 64 bit Windows.
21. Download Latest Version button of Check for Updates feature does not turn to green when clicked.
22. Quick Tutorial's "Show me a simplified user interface" and other radio buttons are not fully visible under Windows XP.

24. Registry Monitor's Create New Snapshot window does not close by clicking the Cancel button.
25. Clicking Registry Monitor's Create New Snapshot > Cancel and then closing Registry Monitor causes the Create New Snapshot window to show up. Closing that brings up the Registry Monitor again, and so on and so on. It's not possible to break the loop.
26. Menu items are too short and that causes texts and the shortcut keys to overlap under XP.
27. The list of translations of the Quick Tutorial does not have the currently active translation (English) selected by default, no translations are selected when the list is generated.
28. Clicking the background of the translation list in Quick Tutorial causes the window to flash.
29. Help > Read License Agreement does not work, because no License Agreement exists under PowerTools' installation directory.
30. Age system tab is visible in Settings even as the Age and Comment Systems will not be a part of PowerTools 2010 (these features will be implemented to PT 2011).
31. After the program has been uninstalled, the program's installation directory is left behind (the folder is empty though).
32. Live Support window does not scale well enough to be used with other translations (such as X_English).
33. Unit Testing Tool doesn not scale well enough to be used with other translations (such as X_English).
34. Clean and Fix my Computer sometimes displays a list of groups with the same name.
35. Directory Tool's More Functions menu cannot be translated.

37. The Grouping tab's caption cannot be translated in Directory Finder, File Finder, File Cleaner, Registry Finder and in Registry Cleaner.
38. The Hint box of the Anti-Malware cannot be translated.
39. It's not possible to translate many parts of the Message Panels.
40. It's only possible to translate the first root key names in Registry Info tool (in reality, it shouldn't be possible to translate any of the root keys).
41. The "Registered To:" text doesn't get translated if you change the language of the program on-the-fly, that is, without restarting the program.
42. The Directory Tool doesn't contain any columns if X_English is used, and the program crashes if the empty column area is clicked.
43. Warning and Tip boxes sometimes show up too big.
44. Unit Testing Tool can report Error: TestStringTools : 4 SubID = 0

50. The Handbook icon on the Main Window says that the handbook is not available when using the X_English translation. Yet, if the icon is clicked, the Handbook opens correctly (assuming the handbook was downloaded during the installation)
Improvements done
1. Improved the Check for Updates window content handling.
2. It's now possible to send messages over the Internet to the Main Window of PowerTools, without the need of user clicking to Help > Check for Updates.
3. Increased the size of the Unit Testing Tool's window.
4. Clicking Abort now closes most of the tool windows - there is no need to show an empty list of results to the user if the user has clicked Abort.
5. Improved the detection of incorrect / corrupted translation file.
6. The program now saves a separate Debug Log of the first run, in order to catch any possible bugs that occur during the Initial Setup.
7. Added debug code in order to better track any "AssertEx Failed!" error messages.
8. Added more debug to better detect problems with FileCache and SysCache creation and loading.
9. Added a SelfTest feature to the Unit Testing Tool, it will detect any missing or corrupted files from PowerTools' installation directory.
10. Improved the amount of information the Anti-Malware tool's Update feature gives during the update process.
11. Reduced the amount of RAM the Unit Testing Tool uses.
12. The Language menu is now visible in the Main Window based on the following policy: If the program is being used with the Simple Mode, the language menu is visible only if there are other translations than English in the \Languages directory. If the program is being used with Advanced Mode, the language menu is always visible, even if there are no other translations available.
13. Improved the safety of the Service Manager, it now warns the user if critical system services are being modified.
14. Improved the safety of the Registry Cleaner under 64 bit Windows.
