System Analysis Locks at 1/4 Complete

Have used Macecraft app's for many years and have never had a problem.

Not certain that this qualifies as a serious one, but, as of my last two requests by JV PT to "Perform System Analysis..."

the scan goes to 1/4 complete and locks. Windows Task Mgr shows that the program is "not responding" and I end the instance.

About one second prior to the lock up, the "working" icon displayed during the analysis starts stuttering and then stops all together.

Just tried a reinstall and still locks at 1/4 complete.

Have searched for the same problem here in the forum and did not find anything.

How long have you tried to wait for the System Analysis to complete?

The "Not responding" status simply means that the program is not responding fast enough to calls by Windows. It can mean that the program has frozen, or that it's simply working very hard.

Also, what version of Windows you are using? Are you using 32 or 64 bit Windows?

I was just used to the system scan completing w/o "working" for extended periods of time.

I just started it, let it go and checked back like 5 minutes later and was done.

Appears to be a non-issue.
