System Optimizer Changes Permanent ???

When you use jv16 Power Tools to change your "system optimization -- performance tweaks", do the settings made with jv16 Power Tools revert to the default settings if you remove jv16 Power Tools or does this feature actually change the settings in Windows ???

System Optimizer tool changes settings in Windows. These changes are not undone if you uninstall PowerTools. But they can be undone with the tool itself by unchecking the boxes, this is also mentioned in the program itself.
