I like the look and feel of the jv16 PowerTools 2010 Beta1 version 2.0.0.644. Most of the options appear to work correctly, although the Registry Cleaner locked up my computer the first time I executed that application. On the downside, my McAfee Security Suite seems to be having some issues with this version of PowerTools.
Since installation of the jv16 PowerTools 2010 Beta1 version 2.0.0.644, whenever my computer is started or rebooted, the desktop seems to hesitate as the icons appear on the desktop. In the process, my McAfee Security Suite comes up and displays a message that my computer is no longer protected. Two events are logged and reported by Windows XP Professional System Tools.
