jv16 PT 2009 1.9.0.590 is about 50% slower than 1.9.0.580

Greetings & Salutations Jv16 & Colleagues,

Just installed 1.9.0.590 in 3 PCs & noticed that the Registry Cleaner is approx 50% Slower (ie run times are about 50% higher) than the Registry Cleaner in 1.9.0.580....

So the Registry Cleaner run times are (I have repeated each 10 times):

1.9.0.580 ==> PC1 & PC2: 20 sec & 21 sec - PC3: 41 sec

1.9.0.590 ==> PC1 & PC2: 41 sec & 41 sec - PC3: 62 sec

Jouni, why has this marked increase in Registry Cleaner's run times occurred in 590 when compared to 580 (& all previous 2009 builds)?.....

Has anyone else noticed this?

PS:

PC1, PC2 & PC3 are Win XP Pro SP3 fully patched.

I'm not sure this would account for such an increase, but 590 does return significantly more errors than 580, at least on my machine. Overall, though, 590's scan times don't seem to be significantly longer than 580's (again, at least on my machine).

This is because the 590 build contains a new scan module, it causes the scan to take a bit longer but also to find more errors previously not detected.
