Problems w/Health Index (.590)

Anyone else seeing this issue with .590 displaying 100% for PC and Registry Health constantly?

According to jv16 PT it has full system access, yet when I run registry cleaner it displays number of errors (800+), which should affect the Health score right?

ps. I don't even bother to contact support anymore, since I never receive any notifications from possible answers (and yes, I've checked my mail filters ...). After a while you give up checking there ...

Remember that the health gauges show the scores after each new run of the Quick System Analysis and thus may not always show the actual status of your PC and Registry.

So after cleaning the registry, do a new Quick System Analysis with "File" > "Run quick system analysis".

I have run Quick System Analysis several times now, in different days. The Health Scores are always maxed out :) According to my observations from past versions at least Registry Health should not be maxed out, as I have lots of errors in registry.

And I don't plan on running registry cleaning yet (I for one am more conservative when it comes to that). And according to the Health Scores I don't even need to run cleaners now Since both all green.

Try this:

1) Settings > Maintenance > Flush cache

2) Exit jv16 PowerTools 2009

3) C:\Program Files\jv16 PowerTools 2009\Settings\SysAnalysis.dat => clear the contents of that file

4) Restart jv16 PowerTools 2009 => Quick System Analysis should start now => what are the results now?

It still displays 100% Green for both System and Registry Health.

If you delete the file, won't it get automatically re-created? If not, it should.

Are you seeing these 800+ errors only when you scan in the most aggressive mode? If so, I don't think the most aggressive mode is used for the basis of the Health Score.

Exactly, the Health Score is calculated based on the most safe mode.

No, I have the normal scanning mode (3rd highest). Have always had.

So the program logic has been changed then? I can't think any other reason why jv16 PT would now suddenly claim 100% Health score.

It may be of interest I have had the following experiece the sequence was;

1.A couple of weeks ago my score was 97/86 I ran an agressive scan the score changed to 98/92.

2.Because I was seeing some irregularities I reinstalled the last backup. New score back to 97/86.

3.Long story short,replaced my graphics card.

4.After doing some general maintaince ie disk cleanup defrag New score 97/86

Note: All done with version previous to .590

5.Installed .590 over previous version

6.No jv16 tools run except quick system analysis Score 100/98

7.Ran registry Cleaner in Normal mode removed and fixed various. New Score 100/100

Not complaining score now is always 100/100 jjust curious bout the change in scores without any input from me. Though it may also help the original OP keep his composure
