Macecraft Fraud- Disgusting

Having gone to the Macecraft Site ordered the Platinum product ,followed all the prompts, and used a visa card to pay for the transaction!

Guess what happened next?

We are sent an email stating the transaction was not completed.

A week later our Visa a/c bank statement shows that Macecraft had debited our a/c $94.04 plus another $94.04 plus $8.77 .

Not only did they state the transaction was unsuccessful , they then charged us twice, and sent us nothing.

The Customer Servise still after four contacts deny any knowledge of the transaction.

DONT TRUST THIS CROWD, THEY ARE DISHONEST AND A BUNCH OF IDIOTS.

THEY CANT EVEN TRACE THEIR OWN INCOMING PAYMENTS SYSTEM.

If they think they can hide behind Office numbers that dont answer and offshore accounts, they have a lot learn.

This Fraud will cost them a thousand times what they think they have gained, by the time the Public makes their own judgement

Yes the matter has been reported to the authorities and Visa, not that we expect much result.

And to think we could have easily used one of the Rips easily avaidable, but we thought we would just do the right thing?

How stupid was that?

BEWARE DONT BELIEVE THEIR B/S

THERE ARE PLENTY OF PRODUCTS THAT DO THE SAME JOB FOR FREE.

And we will take the loss as a good lesson on how easily one can be bitten by faceless sellers !

Gee, take it easy! I am very sorry to hear about the problem, but I'm afraid things like this happen because there is no such thing as "our payment system", we use a third party payment system (like vast majority of other online merchants) and some times problems occur.

Just give me your order details and I can issue you a full refund. Or, if we, the "crowd of dishonest idiots" are not capable of issuing a refund, you can also contact our payment processor directly who we have instructed to refund any customer claims based on our 30 day refund policy. I can give you the contact details of our payment processor after you have told me your order details (name, email address or order number) so I know which payment processor of ours you used.

I deleted a few duplicate topics you created about the same issue, one is surely enough.

Easy for you to say, take it easy,

Your not the one that has had over two hundred dollars taken from your a/c through an illegal transaction.

If you dont like the comments , I suggest you sort out the mess in your payments system.

We already asked for a refund, and sent all the info and nothing.

What kind of company cant trace a visa payment?

Keep it mate , we wont nothing to do with you.

Put simply, one should not have to go this sort of crap, for a simple online trans.

really must learn to check forums before i buy stuff, to have nothing not even an e mail to say there are problems, when you're responding to an e mail sent to you personnaly for vip service is shocking.

Realistically how many Australian transaction did you have on this date, for this exact product?

The Service communications (were where we rightly called them Idiots as they could not trace anything even with the transaction details).

Thank you for sending the order code!

It seems like the reason why you never received your license is because our payment processor did not accept your payment. See the attached screenshot:

So in other words, we never even received your order because our payment processor considered your payment as "probably fraud". This is why we didn't send you your license file. The reason why you were still charged I do not know, that you must ask from the payment processor.

You can contact the payment processor via https://www.cardquery.com/ Or, if you want, I can also contact them and ask why your card was charged and ask them to refund the charge.

As you can see the cardand bank honoured the payment from the a/c.

So clearly it was not fraud? and we are still in the position of having paid for a product legitimately and not having received it.

If the processor considered this fraud, Why did they take the funds ? they are in breach of the law!

And why has this not been reported by them to the FBI?

With due respect, I dont think as this transaction went through your website, under your business trading name and payment was accepted, these processors are your responsability, and not ours?

May we suggest after you have made sure the money so far 'stolen', iether goes your way; so we can have the productwe paid for; or our way so we can have what belongs to us?

Then may I suggest you DUMP these incompetents and find a company that matches the quality of your software before their sloppy business practices cause you any more damage?

I was in contact with the payment processor to ask them what happened. This is the first time this sort of thing has happened.

We did not receive the funds for this transfer, but if we can receive them from the processor we can, of course, send you your license. But I think the paymen processor wants to cancel the transaction. I'll let you know when I hear back.

What I can add, that does not excuse any of the above actions is this;

Some days after the as you state Failed transaction, we checked the card a/c and saw that the payment had been partly processed. In fact double the amount exactly of your purchase price.

Funds had been taken but the transaction details were not on the statement at that point.

We reported we suspected a fraud had occured as we had not used the card since your transaction, and that had been reported as unsuccessful.

So the bank would still currently think there was someone that had stolen our card details!

Then last saturady the transaction details showed the detail I sent two email back showing that macecraft had been paid. Or at least the transaction entered into on your website has accepted payment.

Personally I think your processor has stuffed up and is now trying to cover this up.

Their emails to us were pretending they had never heard of us, yet you identified the transaction within a few miniuts?

We sent them the exact same infomation you have been sent

Simply they are liers, and they had better sort this mess out.

We intend to make whoever is responsible accountable, one way or another.

Maybe you now can see why we were so angry and frustrated in the first post

Also realize that sometimes the CC people will hold the funds from the card when a payment has been requested. The funds might actually be "in transit" as I was told once. The place I was charged charged me twice but no funds were ever shipped to them. The CC people held the funds "open". I had to have the company call the CC people to let them know to "release" the funds back to the card. I would suspect it is more the CC company doing this than Macecraft. I have been through the exact same thing. The only way I resolved it was to wait until the CC company got up to speed with the company I was purchasing from. If you want it resolved sooner, I would contact the CC company and ask them what to do since Macecraft never actually got the funds. VISA is bad for this kind of thing.

As we are honest people,

I can now finally post that Macecraft and their, (processors) after almost exactly 14 days have found the Apparently Fraudulant payment, we made to purchase their Platinum VIP product.

Although Mace Craft were apologetic as to the Total Mess, their processors should be disposed off.

I withdraw all distasteful comments made regarding Macecraft, However their processors have made absolute mugs of themselves.

Their name is in the previous post.

I can only recommend DONT MAKE ANY PAYMENTS THROUGH THEIR SYSTEM AS YOU MAY BE BURNED AS WE WERE.

I believe Mace craft to be quite Genuine and although they did after all select the processor they use, crap servise is an infortunate part of life.

Bottom line , this is one of the best pieces of cleanup software around, and whoever developed this code knows their business particularly well.

I am glad to hear the problem is now solved!

Like I said, this is the first time we have had any problem with this processor, if we hear more reports like this we will change. But changing is not that easy, the processor (swreg) is owned by Digital River which is the market leader in eCommerce solutions, they own and operate many of the top 10 most popular payment processors.
