About Warning Messages

In this post Tullik made some suggestions for Warning Messages concerning MRU and History cleaning.

In this post I mentioned the existence of a Tip in jv16 PowerTools 2009 that doesn't show however in PTLite.

I found also another interesting Message in the English language file sub

51=You are about to remove all found history data of the selected applications. This means all log files, cache entries, Most Recently Used lists and all other such history data will be removed. Removing this data is safe, but you might lose some features you wish to use (for example, the list of previously opened files from Microsoft Office, or chat logs of chat programs).<br><br> Are you sure you know what you are doing and are willing to proceed?

It's a Message shown in jv16 PowerTools 2009 History Cleaner that doesn't show in PTLite either.

That message 51 would have covered most, maybe all, of the matters member argh brought up.

You are correct, I shall add this additional confirmation message to PT Lite's next released version.

I agree with you entirely tullik.

That message should be used in PTLite. A definite heads up for users to check what they are about to do.

Glad I found that existing message in the English language file (while browsing that file during translation work) :)

This feature is now added, an updated version of PT Lite with this improvement will be released in a few days.
