Question about File Cleaner

Good morning,

I ran the File Cleaner last night, Safe Mode as I always do, and it gives me results I wonder if they are secure to delete ! You can find ever EXE files, DLL files, etc., which files are not choosen in the native safe mode filter. The list is attached.

With what settings did you use the tool with?

Hi,

I'm at work now, but as far as I remember, it was :

- Safe mode, unneeded files

- All drive Temp directories

- But only files that are not it use since 5 days

I can't remind the other settings just now !

All I know is that the list I got seemed strange to me !

PS Wouldn't you think the report text should include all those settings, so it might be easier for you to work on it ?

I'm also getting ".dll"s in my list. Once I see those I cancel. Vista Ultimate x64. :

Dear JV16,

These are the results that keep appearing even though I "fix" them. They say "unneeded shared component entry."

They never came up in the original powertools 2009 regardless of level of scan and now they always come up; please help.

I see that there are always over 100 DLLs of this kind in the results. Thank you in advance for your time and attention in this matter;I

If they are unneeded why when I "fix" them do they keep immediately reappearing on a subsequent scans?

Does this prove that the program is not working or that they are needed?
