V1.9.0.549 Registry Cleaner Hangs: XP-SP3 32-bit

On XP-SP3 32-bit, PT V1.9.0549, the registry cleaner hangs indefinitely if the slider bar is at position 3 or position 4 (aggressive). The hang is right after the message window displays "File extension Scan Finished". I can send a debug print if you tell me where to email it. It's 6+mbytes in size.

It appears to be when it starts MRU/History. However, this section will scan okay if scanned alone.

I can confirm this "hang" situation. It started with version 546 all thru version 549.

When jv16PT.exe hangs the cpu usage stay's zero.

I too can confirm this takes place...when the scan is about 75%-85% complete. It just hangs there and does nothing...here's my system info, if that helps:

Confirmed. In Aggressive mode, with or without, 549 (as did 548) Registry Cleaner hangs, in my case with 2 threads remaining.

And, as with 548, the scan completes in Normal mode. But whereas yesterday's 548 scan returned almost 1,800 errors, today's 549 scan returned 229 errors, with no unusual or appreciable registry activity occurring in-between. I'm hesitant to allow the program to repair/delete the errors.

I can confirm the same problem on my system: XP Pro - SP3. All updates installed. (Also on Laptop running same)

Running in Aggressive mode with 549, Registry Cleaner hangs with 2 threads remaining.

Version 1.9.0.550 quick system analysis and registry cleaner always hang up on windows xp SP3. Anybody knows the reason ?
