Simply drag/move the Message Window away from the parent Window to detach it. After you do so, the detached Message Window will be used for all messages. You can re-attach it by moving the Message Window near to the bottom edge of another window again.

Can this be un-done?

Just did a Backup restore - Got the Backup Tool window - then the Message window.

Didn't move the Message window, but when I closed the Backup Tool, the Message window didn't close.

Same think happened with the Registry Cleaner tool - got the Results Detail window, fixed the errors, but the message window didn't close when the Results detail window was closed.

I didn't move the Message window (detach it). How do I get back the way it was in the previous versions?

Or, could an option be added to Window Management (Settings/Window Management) to Attach/Detach Message Window?

For me that doesn't work. No way to re-attach the detached Message Window, unless starting a new PowerTools session.

Similar issue here. I have resized the main window, yes, but never have I moved the msg window. Now it appears (at least) when running Registry Cleaner that msg window does not close itself after exiting Registry Cleaner.

Annoying to have the results window there, even after it is no longer needed.

This behaviour started after updating to .549. I hope this isn't by design?

No it's not, it's a small bug in the Detach feature. I'll fix it and release the fixed version later in this week.
