left over from select all-fix, then delete you won't duplicate this unless you have reg entries obsolete and undeletable.
I just found something else-- I uninstalled iolo systems system mechanic a while back-never liked it or trusted it. Finally scanning for leftovers with finder. Now I have a list. Going thru the list I'm used to clicking on an entry to highlight it and read the details in the pane above. Now, clicking auto selects the checkbox also. Not my intention. But hear this--I click the entry above and above that, (or below) For a second that entry's info is displayed, then as if a correction, in the pane above, I see info from the first entry I clicked on. If I did not catch this, I would have deleted entries wrongly. It was showing me wrong info-- that every key was the one I highlighted first. I have been using jv16 since 2004 with no problems. I almost just accidentally messed up my system because the info I'm looking at is incorrect? I hope you understand this. I just now verified this behavior. Reg find 2009, displayed list. I click an entry and the selection box is checked. I click the entry above and the orig entry stays hilited because its checked (which I did not want or do) The pane above displays the correct info for a second, then displays the info of the first entry I clicked. And on and on In all cases, pane displays wrong data. i"m going back to 2007 for awhile.
