some things that i miss in jv16pt2005 are the ability to edit, to rename, entries in the "add/remove" section (like you could in jv16pt1.4), and the ability to create entries in the "startup" section (like you could in jv16pt1.4)..
i don't like the "micro-windows" for adjusting the settings..
i have many "extraneous" items displayed in the add/remove section of jv16pt2005 that are not displayed in win xp's "add/remove" or in the "add/remove" section of jv16pt1.4.. here is a list of the extraneous items displayed in the "add/remove" section:
#AddressBook
#AutoUpdate
#Branding
#Connection Manager
#DirectAnimation
#DirectDrawEx
#Fontcore
#ICW
#IE40
#IE4Data
#IE5BAKEX
#IEData
#InstallShield Uninstall Information
#MobileOptionPack
#MsJavaVM
#NetMeeting
#OutlookExpress
#PCHealth
#RealJukebox 1.0
#SchedulingAgent
#Shockwave Flash
i suppose that there is supposed to be a settings-adjustment for "normal view", and viewing "hidden items", in the ""add/remove menu" (like there is in jv16pt1.4), but that settings-adjustment seems to be missing..
i had problems with the regcleaner in the previous releases of jv16pt2005, but there is a huge improvement in the regcleaner's safety in the latest release..
