On a whim, I decided to play with Transparency effect in Settings. As soon as I click the Enabled radio button and move the slider bar 2-3 clicks to the right (it won't go any further), the entire program freezes, completely non-responsive (the program freezes only after I move the slider bar - if I don't move the slider, the program continues to function normally). I need to use Task Manager to shut down PT2009. I reproduced this error 4 times - in fact, as I type this message, PT is frozen solid. Task Manager shows it as Running with 100% CPU usage, but there is no change after waiting several minutes. I'm running a vanilla WinXP Home desktop.
