Incorrect permissions?

Hello All,

I have a question about registry problem codes. After doing the scan besides all the normal stuff ,about 6 entries came back with the statement "registry keys with incorrect permissions or owner" I know that awhile ago i had to change permissions of some keys to work on them. From "trusted installer " to myself . (administrator) Question, if i selected them all and clicked "Fix" what would happen? would jv16 delete them or change the owner? Regards Fred

That was with Vista. There seems to be some sort of bug with the handling of that error category.

I also had a couple of those incorrect permissions on my XP Pro system. The bug had different results there. Check this post: http://www.macecraft.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?p=17017#p17017

I suggest you use "Ignore words" to retain those errors on your system until Registry Cleaner's handling of the situation becomes clearer through future fixes and user reports.

Hello and thank you for your reply. Yes i am running Vista home premium, and will do as you have suggested. I will also keep my eye on the forum postings. Regards Fred
