I installed the latest build (1.8.0.459) yesterday and went to run it this morning. Everytime I open the program I receive an error the following error...

This is followed by a message that it has violated DEP and was closed. Next I will be trying to uninstall and re-install it again, but I thought I would bring the topic up in case this was a know problem or if someone else has run into it and knows how to fix it.

Strange, I use Windows Vista Ultimate 64 bit as my main development environment and the latest version works perfectly under it.

Could you try to create a file called "DebugMode.dat" under PT's installation directory and try to start the application then. Does it produce a debug log to your Desktop or not? If it does, could you send its contents here.

I'm not sure how to create the debugmode.dat file, but I was finally able to get the program to run by uninstalling it, restarting the system and them reinstalling the program. I was able to run the program fine other than getting a lot of access denied to keys when running the Registry Cleanup and trying to get rid of a long list of uneeded keys using the automatic cleanup.
