GUI: Software Manager, Startup Manager, Registry Manager, Registry Compactor, Backup Tool - File dropdown menu still does not align with the word 'File' in the menu bar - dropdown menu is offset significantly to the right. This does not appear to be happening in other tools that utilize a menu bar.

Confirmed, and yes, you are right -- it has been reported before (just for Software Manager, if I remember correctly).

It seems that every window which can be maximized, does it when maximized. Otherwise, it doesn't happen.

I'm afraid the issue is NOT fixed in verion 1.8.0.459...

File Split: The previous version did not work when I tried to split a 4.3GB file using this utility. The current version worked perfectly. I did not, however, use the drag-and-drop method that redseujac describes. I selected the file from within the tool itself.

Well, I had tried both methods: drag-and-drop and opening the file from within the file tool. With both methods the splitting failed miserably.

I don't think the issue lies in the method of bringing the file into the file tool.

Well, that makes the status "Fixed, but sometimes requires retries" in Issue status (v.1.8.0.457), and it drops from the v.1.8.0.459 status list.

Probably windows is sometimes saying "that large a block of memory is not currently available." Perhaps later, jv can work in some "wait-a-while then retry" (n times) logic if that is the case.
