Backup tool can't restore a file … (Vista)
File Cleaner removed this file (in spite of its folder's permissions):
C:\Windows\winsxs\x86_microsoft-windows-com-dtc-runtime_31bf3856ad364e35_6.0.6000.16386_none_171c40e96317eaae\MSDTC.LOG
The Backup tool doesn't restore the file (with Custom Restore), although it says it did: "The selected parts of the backup are now restored."
Possibly the failure to restore is due to the original folder's permissions. That is, only TrustedInstaller has "Full control."
Can the File tools recognize files/folders with this Vista dilemma and refuse to remove them? Or should the Backup tool successfully restore such files/folders?

Note: I used Custom Restore because normal restore had this message:
: Failed to access "C:\Windows\winsxs\x86_microsoft-windows-com-dtc-runtime_31bf3856ad364e35_6.0.6000.16386_none_171c40e96317eaae\MSDTC.LOG"! Windows core returned the following error: "The system cannot find the file specified."
: Backup "misc.log pass 1 (44)" restored.
