Sanning registry with several tools

Hi,

I am new on this forum !

After positive comments on the Kasperksy forum i decided to register for ReGSupreme.

Before using RS i was cleaning up very regulary my registry with CCleaner and Registry Mechanic.

A first run with RegSupreme cleaned up over 800 items :-)

After having scanned my registry with RegSupreme, and rescanning my registry with CC and RM

more remaining registry errors were detected and cleaned up !

I assume different tools are detecting different wrong registry entries.

Could i harm my system when cleaning up my registry with different registry scanners,

or should i only clean my registry with RegSupreme ?

Thanks for any comment on this subject.

It doesn't harm ... I'm using 4 registry cleaners :

So, jv16 PowerTools' registry cleaner and 3 others.

I may not give away their names, because principally it's not allowed at this forum :

That's right, more or less: let's say that one registry cleaner detects more wrong entries because it' using a different scan engine that could be less safe than other registry cleaner engines and vice versa. Even jv16 PowerTools 2008 Registry Cleaner has different settings possibilities now:

- Emphasize safety of the Registry Cleaner engine over both scan speed and the number of found errors, or

- Emphasize the number of found errors and speed of the Registry Cleaner engine over safety and accuracy
