1.8.0.451 can't find HistoryCleaner.xdat

The History Cleaner tool says it "Failed to access "C:\Program Files\...\HistoryCleaner.xdat"!" -- and then does nothing.

Sorry about that. I did a switch from my old development XP environment to Vista 64 bit environment and compiled the 451 with the new environment. This small problem was caused by that, I did a silent update and the problem should now be fixed, simply re-download the 451 version.

I'll address the other remaining issues in next week.

Unfortunately, it's still happening.

I tested with both jv16PT.exe executables to make sure I tried the new one:

1.8.0.451.0 executable size = 1265 KB

1.8.0.451.1 executable size = 1259 KB

Problem solved (without a reboot).

It seems the rendition of HistoryCleaner.xdat distributed with v.1.8.0.451 is new (the first since last July). It is no longer backward compatible. The first rendition of the file worked with PT2007 and all versions of PT2008 up to this one. The new rendition no longer works with those versions.

Possibly the v.1.8.0.451 "silent" update wasn't necessary ...

I'm going to use just v1.8.0.451.0 for a while since it doesn't have the Hair trigger windows behavior.
