Software Manager doesn't uninstall completely

I have had a long-standing problem with various software which has been installed or uninstalled in an uncontrolled manner. I have therefore not been able to uninstall these programs through the windows add/remove programs dialogue. I therefore was happy to use the uninstaller in the software manager, and based on my reading of the handbook, removing them from the software manager list should also remove them from the Windows dialogue. Now I find that they have been removed from the "All Programs" menu, aren't in the software manager list, but still appear in the add/remove programs dialogue :( . How can this be possible?

It's not because it's the first section of this forum you can post everything in it...

You should report your problems in the section "Technical Support" or in the appropriate section of the specific software, as "RegSupreme Pro" or "jv16 PowerTools 2005, 2006, 2007 or 2008"!
