In future versions, could you consider adding a setup option under "Network" to specify "always connected" or "dialup only", in addition to the current "use" and "don't use"?
I'm an old-timer still on dialup, and 99 percent of the time when I'm running jv16 it's offline as part of general cleanup. So if I'm set to use update checks, naturally the very first thing jv16 does when I start it up is give me that "not connected" error message.
Presumably the menu entry to check for Reg Cleaner updates (if I'm online) will still work even if I've got "don't use" ticked?
(Edit) As a P.S., when checking for updates, could we get that "Done" expanded a little to indicate whether or not there actually was an update?
