449- Registry Cleaner Scroll Bar Blankout

Running Vista SP1 Business with Areo, nVidia graphics. Everything up-to-date. This problem occurs in PT 2007 and now PT 2008 and has been reported before. It is not SP1 related.

When using the Registry Cleaner-Raw mode and clicking on either the vertical or horizontal scroll bar, a section of viewing window is blanked out.

My best guess is that this has something to do with video card drivers as its their job to draw the actual pixels to the screen, not individual applications.

Can anyone else reproduce the problem?

I'm running an nVidia GeForce 8800 GTX graphics card with nvidia v169.25 drivers (the latest version). This problem has occurred on all previous verisons of the nvidia drivers. I am not experiencing this on any other program on the system.

Does the problem occur only with Registry Cleaner? Also, are there any steps you take before the problem occurs, or does it show right after the scan has finished?

Hello,

For me - Xp/SP2 - this does not happen,

but therefore the columns are no more adjustable in Raw list.

and with "Raw list" option

(Edit: Sorry it was not the "Structured list")

the results window pops up allways maximised.

Edit: After a clean install the result windows pops up minimized as it should.

It occurs after the scan is completed and then when I click on either scroll bar. Note that the window is maximized. I have not seen it on any other window other than Registry Cleaner.
