I was finally able to reproduce the problem in one test environment, this allowed me to locate and fix the problem. So, the bug is now fixed and the next released version will contain the fix. The next version will be out in this week.

I don't know if it makes a difference for this issue, but I have suppressed caching in FileCache.dat for drives other than c:/:

Perhaps this one was also in your working version, but somehow missed the release cut. As I recall, v.1.8.0.455 was released earlier than expected to get rid of, for example, the File Cleaner "Empty files" bug.
