Incomplete Delete in Registry Cleaner

JV16 2008 version 1.8.0.446

I just completed a registry cleaner scan and ended up with 1769 hits (yes 1769).

Anyways I did a select ALL and then Delete. It deleted all but 340.

Select all again and delete...deleted all but 163

Again... deleted all but 69

Again... deleted all but 21

Again... deleted all but 6

And one last time and deleted the rest of them

What is going on here? Never had that problem with 2007 (or 2006).

I have had that happen occasionally in PT2005, PT2006, PT2007, PT2008, and in lists other than Registry Cleaner, such as File Cleaner (temp files). It may be a list processing bug or a failure to recognize a busy response from windows, or ... who knows?

It will be nice when the bug, whatever it is, is corrected. However, since just clicking the Delete button again does make progress, it's not a real serious bug … but it is a real annoyance! And sometimes one has to rescan just to be certain. :(

One bug that causes this is now fixed from the Registry Cleaner (when using Structured list). This fix will be available in the next released version.
