Running Windows Vista Ultimate.

Here's another serious bug in jv16 PowerTools 2008, which absolutely should be fixed with priority.

Registry Cleaner > Advanced Engine Settings > Enable Custom Selection of Scans

I checked only "ActiveX/COM/DCOM/OLE/DDE scan" - all other scans NOT checked

After clicking start, I always get the following error message:

Here's another serious bug in jv16 PowerTools 2008, which absolutely should be fixed with priority.

This isn't actually a serious bug, it simply means that an instance of the registry access component was created with Full Access rights even when Read-Only access would be enough. This was detected by the new additional safety layer included in the private build, and in the next officially released build as well.

But in any case, the problem is now fixed and thank you for reporting, I'm glad to get this problem fixed before releasing the next version.
