PT2008 v.1.8.0.448 is a "private test build" mentioned by jv16 in a thread
It attempted to solve a Vista only problem caused by a bug in Startup Manager in versions before v.1.8.0.446. The attempt was not successful, but the probable cause now has been found. Read later in the thread
The released version (v.1.8.0.446) and the "private test build" (v.1.8.0.448) are both as OK as you can get right now.
