I have since removed jv16 AND Firefox. I think I have found every file and folder that was anything to do with either of them and deleted those. I have deleted every registry entry by hand to do with either of them. I then reinstalled jv16 (but NOT firefox) and HM still found the same 300+ firefox URLs. Where is it getting them from? Is it anything to do with the cache onthe central servers???
Well, in Firefox (and in IE too), there's an option to delete the browser history => have you done that before uninstalling Firefox?
The information about the browser history has certainly nothing to do with the central servers cache.
The jv16 PowerTools can automatically use the Macecraft Software's central server over an Internet connection to greatly improve the program's performance and safety. Normally no information is sent to Macecraft Software, unless some information about removed registry items if that option is ticked.
