Hi,

Using Win XP Pro SP2, JV 16 PowerTools 2007, V1.7.0.422, Software Manager - I select an item, run Custom Uninstall, delete the registry key and then I'm back to the list. I select another item, but it at the top of the dialog, it shows the information from the last selected item (that was deleted). If I click Custom Uninstall anyway, the command line shows:

Yes, I can corfirm that, the same OS. It is as if the "checkmark" status of the deleted item is not cleared, and when you checkmark another one... well, it won't let you delete it :) You will have to close the Software Manager and open it again, which of course is a pain.

So what does JV16 have to say about this issue? I'm surprised there's been no response. This issue makes Software Manager pretty much useless.

Also, one reason I bought PT2007 was for the promised defragger module. Its been a year now, and no defragger or news thereof. What's up with that?

This issue should be fixed in the next released version. I suspect the problem is caused by a component my collegue has made, I have waited his comments about this so that's why I haven't said anything about this so far.

The development of the defrag feature has been put on a pause, it will most likely be included but not to PT 2007 and most likely not to PT 2008 either. If this was the reason you bought the product and you are not happy about this, simply contact our support staff for a refund.
