gizmo When i look for files with *.tmp or *.temp extensions, File Cleaner lists all files containing ".tmp" and ".temp", for example "snmp.acl.template" in Java folder. This behaviour doesn't happen in previous version. Is that a bug?
jv16 Yes, this is indeed a bug but nothing I'd call major. The feature should match all files containing ".temp" only if ".temp" or ".temp*" is given as the search word, *.temp should only match all files ending to ".temp".
gizmo jv16 wroteYes, this is indeed a bug but nothing I'd call major. Yes, this is small bug, which can cause a serious damage to the system by deleting some important files containing "tmp", "temp", "old", "chk", "gid" etc.

Yes, this is small bug, which can cause a serious damage to the system by deleting some important files containing "tmp", "temp", "old", "chk", "gid" etc. This bug can only cause problems if one doesn't verify what files one is about to delete. And that's much more serious problem than any bug in the software.

It's obvious, but in that case You should remove a "safe" profile from the File Cleaner. Only one profile should exist in this tool - dangerous. BTW: If i have to dig through hundreds of files which don't fit to search criteria, then why should i use FC at all?
