First timer

I have just used regsupremo pro for the first time. The registry scan, on normal, logged over 240 errors. I clicked fix. Out of curiosity I immediately ran another scan, this logged over 250 errors! Surely this number should have gone down rather than up?

Unfortunately my system is now worse than ever. I trusted the most basic of settings and now have even more problems. Perhaps this programme is for advanced users, there was no way to tell if I should or shouldnt fix errors. I tried a backup restore, but have no idea if this worked. I've undertaken a system restore but still getting all sorts of error messages.

I think that the help manual requires some improvement, it only explains what I have read elsewhere.

What is your operating system and what version of RegSupreme Pro did you use?

my system is XP, service pack 2. RS pro has now gone after system restore. i downloaded it tonight and it immediately ran an update so i am guessing i had the latest version.

It (RSPro v 1.7.0.416) should work with your setup.

If you try again, I suggest you first choose "Raw list" in the tool's "Results format" tab before you click its Start button.

It is easier to see "error" details with that format.

I would still be interested to know why the number of errors logged increased on the second scan?
