Italian translation does not work

I downloaded the latest Jv16 2007 1.7.0.416 release. Even though the Italian.lng file is in "Languages" folder, the choice for Italian language does not appear on the Language menu. Thank you.

The translator or yourself have to make some changes in the Italian language file as follows:

- ProgDef = jv16/RSPro/RS

- LangVersion = 3.0 (NOT 2.2!)

- SyntaxVersion = 3.0 (NOT 2.0!)

After making those changes you'll see the Italian language in the Menu :

I've just made the changes on Italian language file, as you showed. But the Italian language option doesn't appear on language menu yet. :(

I also made the changes indicated by redseujac. You have to exit and restart the program to make it show. :

Thank you tullik. I've restarted the program, of course. But I don't see any Italian language option. Maybe I've to uninstall and reinstall the program, after the installation I could paste the modified Italian file in Languages folder. Do you suggest it could be an idea?

Most likely, you have an error in your manual update.

Those three lines should look like this:

ProgDef = jv16/RSPro/RS // Do not edit!


LangVersion   = 3.0             // Do not edit!

SyntaxVersion = 3.0 // Do not edit!

Well, I guess I had given the right instructions :

But, for the future, I advice the Italian translator to change himself his Italian language file in that right way and send it to Macecraft Software. If he doesn't, the following version of the PowerTools and RegSupreme (Pro) will contain a wrong Italian language file again that doesn't show up in the language menu :

Macecraft Software DOES NOT modify itself existing translation files, I'm afraid...
