7. The alternate clicking doesn't have to involve the main window -- the behavior can be triggered by any other PT window

It = a single click anywhere on the title bar except the buttons maximizes the window. It happens consistently (like every time) in these tools:

* Software Manager

* Startup Manager

* Registry Manager

* Registry Cleaner

* Registry Finder

* Registry Monitor

* Registry Compactor

* File Finder

* File Cleaner

* Duplicate File Finder

* File Tool

* Directory Finder

* Directory Tool

* Start Menu and Desktop Tool

* History Cleaner

* Automation Tool

* Settings Tool

* Backup Tool

11. Worse, if the click in the alternate window is on a populated line, the single click often (*) launches a context menu task : -- this could be dangerous!

The single click on a line only switches windows for these tools. They are not a problem since they don't launch an unexpected task:

* Software Manager

* Startup Manager

* Registry Manager

* Registry Monitor

* Registry Compactor

* Duplicate File Finder

* Automation Tool

The behavior below only happens if one or more lines happen to be already selected or highlighted in the list.

The single click on a line only launches informational tasks (RegEdit, Windows explorer, "Show data") for these tools. Aside from the inconvenience of the unexpected task, there is no problem:

* Registry Cleaner

* Registry Finder

* Directory Finder

* Directory Tool

* History Cleaner

* Start Menu and Desktop Tool

* Backup Tool

The single click on a line actually opens a file for these tools. Depending on what the file is, unexpected, possibly damaging, changes could occur:

* File Finder

* File Cleaner

* File Tool

If the single click is a right click instead of a left click, none of the problem behavior described in this post happens!

* it is in v 1.7.0.411

It still happens in all three Macecraft products on XP Pro, Vista BE, and W98SE.

For some reason I have only been able to reproduce this problem with 64bit Vista, not with Windows XP nor 98SE test enviroments.

But anyhow, now that I have finally been able to reproduce the problem I'm hoping to fix it shortly.

I'm afraid this requires some major changes to the program so fix to this problem won't be present in the next released version but only later.

At least this issue will be fixed in PT 2008, which we are working already on.
