Any chance of a x64 bit Version of jv16 in the near future

Hello.

I hope somebody can tell me, if there is a timetable for a x64 bit Version of jv16PT2007?

I was really disappointed, after getting my new pc with Vista x64 Ultimate, and installing the new jv16pt 2007, that i was reading on your download page that it is not for x64!

Good question. I was wondering the same thing.

A support for 64 bit Windows Vista is coming but it's not our top priority at the moment I'm afraid.

Only a small per cent of our users have Windows Vista, and even smaller per cent have Vista 64, so before we focus on making a Vista 64 compatible version we must make the product work perfectly with the OS majority of our users use, that is Windows XP.

Just a thank you and a vote for an x64 version of jv16 powertools. I like using xp-64 (not vista), and it would be super to get your software working fully (i.e. with the actual rather than redirected paths...).

I've been a jv16powertools user for at least 3 years & it is one of the most valuable tools in my toolbox.

I recently installed 64 bit Vista on a new pc I've built and was disappointed to find jv16powertools will not run in a 64 bit operating system. Of all the programs & hardware I use, so far jv16powertools & an sfv checker were the only ones I've found that would not work.

64 bit is clearly superior & faster so I'd also like to request a 64 bit version of this great program, or at least a 32 bit version that will work properly with 64 bit.

i totally agree on 64 bit for vista. have switched from 32 to 64 and truly like the 64 bit version even if drivers and software sometimes do not work properly. hope they come out with it soon. love this macecraft software. i recommend it to all my customers. i run a computer business that deals with mainly county government and home users.

Add another to the list of vista 64 users awaiting JV16 compatibility.

Funny thing is, I just purchased a new Power Tools license about two weeks ago since I'd given my old license along with the 32-bit system to my soon-to-be ex wife (part of a divorce settlement). That's OK; I have complete faith in JV developing a 64-bit version and besides, I'm not much impressed with the couple of competetor's 64-bit compatible registry tools that I'm currently stuck with, er... "evaluating."
