Directory Finder -- APPCRASH (Vista)

An APPCRASH occurred while removing a large directory structure (C:\hp) with Directory Finder (details from Vista pop-up at the end of this ...).

The backup is (I hope) OK:

1. Files.dat shows 1839 files

2. Dirs.dat shows 214 folders

After the crash, C:\hp Properties showed 0 files and 204 folders. Therefore, the crash likely occurred while removing subdirectories …

I next attempted to remove the now empty "C:\hp" directory structure with Directory Finder. A different APPCRASH occurred. After this crash, C:\hp Properties still showed 0 files and 204 folders.

The backup occurred and is apparently OK -- Dirs.dat shows 205 folders.

I next attempted to remove the now empty "C:\hp" directory structure with One Click Cleaner's "Empty directories" feature. For the most part, this succeeded -- it said it removed 204 folders and the backup's Dirs.dat shows 205 folders.

However, this structure remained: "C:\hp\bin\IFC" -- so it did not really remove all it said it did … :

Added note: I removed the three remaining empty folders with a win explorer Delete of C:\hp.
