Registry Cleaner -- a certain intermittent issue (Vista)

Today during one scan only (it did not reshow on rescans), this key was on the RC results list:

HKUS\S-1-5-21-2736614755-4186107725-1336004102-1010\Soft\MSoft\Office\11.0\Common\Open Find\Microsoft Office Word\Settings\Modify Location\File Name MRU\ -- per RegEdit:

* The entry name was "Value"

* The type was REG_MULTI_SZ

* The data was:
C:\+A\!P\Personal\Neil\Word\In Process (a valid path)

A binary zero separator (00,00)

K:\+A\!P\Personal\Neil\Word\In Process (an invalid path)

The parenthetical expressions are, of course, not part of the data

If I remember correctly, the line showed because the invalid path "does not exist" …

Bugs observed:

1. The error did not show consistently on the RC results list

2. Export as a .reg file created a file containing only header information (message box said "Done") -- RegEdit did the export OK …

3. Create a PowerTools backup got a "failed to backup" message

4. Jump to RegEdit went to "My Computer," not to the key

5. Custom fix presented the valid path in the manual fix box, not the invalid one; the only other enabled option was Delete

6. Remove caused the item to drop from the results list, but no backup was created and the registry data did not change
